Growth Circles

Project for the 2022 10-Day GameDevTV Game Jam with the theme "Death is only the beginning".

You are a small fungus looking to liberate his land from the usurper that took your rightful home.

WASD to move, mouse to aim and left click to attack. ESC to open pause menu.

Try to kill enemies close to each other so that their bodies nurture the soil and lead to better upgrades!

The growth circle is awesome! It just makes me wanna tru to stack kill em as close as I could get them ^w^. Awesome work!

I really like the growth circle idea, it makes the usually kind of repetative hack-n-slash game style more fun because you have to pay more attention. But it's still actiony and the boss fight was well done! Awesome job! FYI the music does just cut out at one point.

Thank you very much for checking out my game! I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanic! I want to add more enemies that start sucking up the circles and that enemies themselfs get stronger while standing in them that way it becomes even more of a strategical decision! I already fixed the music bug... °^^

Oh that's a really cool idea! If you decide to work on it more (no pressure) I'll have to check it out! Also horray for bug fixes :D

Pretty nice combat and power-up mechanics! Looking forward to check the boss fight out.
